Aircraft Twirls Wildly into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
A helicopter hovering near a popular southern California coastline unexpectedly began spiraling uncontrollably, finally descending rapidly and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Footage uploaded online show the aircraft commencing to spiral near Huntington Beach then plunging near the edge of the shore, where it becomes wedged amidst palms and a staircase near the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Information
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five individuals were taken to hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the street were harmed. Details on their injuries were still under review.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.

Officials said the helicopter was connected to an regular “Cars N Copters” charity gathering planned for the following day.
